Jade Goodloe is a doctorate-prepared, board-certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner with over a decade of diverse nursing experience and a passion for mental health care. As a former active-duty service member in the United States Air Force, Jade provided mental health services to service members, retirees, and their families. She also served as the Medical Director of the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Mental Health Clinic’s Intensive Outpatient Program, leading care for those navigating significant mental health challenges.
Jade’s journey in nursing spans more than 12 years, giving her a broad and well-rounded understanding of patient care. However, her heart has always been in mental health. With extensive training in crisis stabilization and a deep commitment to underserved communities, she brings both skill and empathy to every patient interaction.
Recognizing that psychiatry is not “one size fits all,” Jade tailors her care to meet the unique needs of each individual. By blending evidence-based practices with a holistic approach, she integrates elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and more into her treatment plans.
What sets Jade apart is her ability to create a safe, welcoming space where you can express yourself openly and feel truly heard. Patients often describe her as approachable, compassionate, and deeply invested in their well-being. You can count on Jade to actively listen without judgment, respect your concerns, and work alongside you to develop a care plan that fits your life.
If you’re looking for a provider who combines clinical expertise with genuine care and connection, Jade Goodloe is here to help you take the next step in your mental health journey.
I’m passionate about breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health and making care accessible and approachable for everyone. Too often, mental healthcare feels intimidating or impersonal, and I want to change that. I believe in creating genuine, authentic connections with my patients, empowering them to not just survive but truly thrive. It’s about helping people reclaim their lives and feel confident in who they are, every step of the way.
As a prescriber, I view medications as one of many tools in the toolbox—not the only option. For some people, medications can be life-changing, while for others, they may not be as effective. That’s why I take an individualized approach to every patient.
I prioritize non-pharmacological strategies whenever possible, focusing on psychoeducation, supportive therapy, and practical coping tools. My goal is to help you develop the skills and resilience to manage life’s challenges, whether or not medication is part of your plan.
If medications are an option, I’ll never push you into anything you’re uncomfortable with. My role is to educate you, answer your questions, and help you feel confident in your decisions. I know many people worry about being overmedicated or losing their sense of self, and I take those concerns seriously. If medications are needed, I always aim for the lowest effective dose to support your ability to function at your best without feeling weighed down. Ultimately, you are in control of your care—I’m here to guide and support you in whatever path feels right for you.
First of all, it’s okay to feel nervous—it’s normal! Starting a conversation about your mental health can be hard, especially if it’s new or if you’ve had negative experiences in the past. This is a safe space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, no matter what you’re going through.
There’s nothing you could say that would make me judge you or think less of you. I understand that sharing certain things can be painful, so you can take it at your own pace. You’re in control of what you share, and I don’t expect you to tell me everything right away. The first appointment is about getting to know you and figuring out how I can best support you.
I’ll always do my best to make sure you feel heard and respected. The more I understand about your experiences, the more I can tailor my care to help you. But even if there are things you’re not ready to talk about, that’s okay too. We’ll work together to create a space where you feel safe to open up, whenever you’re ready.
